Description:

Current CPR guidelines continue to stress the key components to improving survival rate: A correct compression rate; achieving complete chest wall recoil; providing a sufficient but specific depth of chest compressions; and avoiding the hemodynamic consequences of improper ventilation. This presentation will review the current science of CPR and the role of CPR in cardiac resuscitation based on the AHA 2020 Guidelines. This webinar will show how performing high-quality CPR can achieve the most positive clinical outcomes.

Faculty Bio

Kenan Kuntsal is currently Global Director of Clinical Marketing at ZOLL. Prior to joining ZOLL, Kenan worked as a 911-based paramedic with San Diego City EMS. In addition to his paramedic certification, Kenan holds a degree in mechanical engineering from UC San Diego. He maintains his paramedic license and is also certified as an instructor for ACLS, BLS, and PALS. Kenan has also co-authored peer-reviewed studies in the field of resuscitation and has published in Journal of Critical Care and the Journal of International Emergency Medicine.
